Homesharing Means
Carefully screening and pairing a senior with a housemate over
21 years old. Each homeowner in a pair provides a private
bedroom and shared common areas for their housemate. The housemate
may provide some service to the homeowner in exchange for reduced
or free rent.

Homesharing - Some things you should know before you
apply
- The Homesharing Program does not provide wages or salaries for
live-in services.
- Some Homeowners prefer that their Housemate pay a straight rental
fee.
- Some Homeowners want a combination of rent money and services.
- Some Homeowners require all services and want no rent money.
- Some Homeowners need so many service hours that they pay a wage.
- Housemates cannot expect free or low rent in exchange for simply
being in the home.
