Dial-A-Ride Transportation, or DART, is a public service providing
prescheduled paratransit service. It is designed for people who
have a condition or disability which makes them unable to use a
Community Transit fixed-route bus. DART service is generally limited
to areas within ¾ of a mile of all Community Transit local, non-commuter
fixed routes. These areas along the local fixed routes are called
"ADA corridors". DART trips must begin and end within the ADA corridors
at times comparable to the corresponding local fixed routes. If
the beginning or end of your desired trip is outside the ADA corridor,
you need to find alternate transportation to or from a pick-up or
drop-off point within the corridor.
To be eligible for DART service, your disability or condition must
make you unable to:
- get on or off a transit bus
- get to or from a regular fixed-route bus stop that is within
¾ mile of your location
- wait at a regular fixed-route bus stop
- understand or navigate the fixed-route system
You also must be 6 years of age or older.
DART operates seven days per
week, Sunday - Saturday.
